Bangkok being a foodie capital and home to some delicious eats, there are some amazing women heading up kitchens, running food delivery services and opening restaurants. Not to mention all the rest of us who enjoy their creations! Join us to find out more about what goes on behind the scenes of Bangkok’s food and dining industry.

This evening will be a celebration of good food, great wine and the talented women who work in the food business. The night will begin with welcome drinks before listening to a panel discussion from some of Bangkok’s most respected women in the field. After the discussion we will enjoy a delicious light dinner from Il Fumo along with inspired cocktail creations.

Sharing their experience as our panelists will be Marion Grasby of Marion’s Kitchen, Debby Tang of Il Fumo, and Honey Falcioni of Daniel Thaiger.

This evening will be held at the newly opened Il Fumo fine dining restaurant. From the same team behind cocktail bar Vesper, Debby, her husband Choti and chef Luca Appino wanted to create a retreat amidst the chaos of Bangkok’s CBD. Debby will be one of our speakers for the evening and will be able to tell us more about the opening of Il Fumo.

Ticket includes a welcome drink and a light dinner and due to limited capacity we recommend booking fast as we expect this event to sell out.

This event is open to anyone currently working in hospitality, food and beverage or interested in the field. Men are encouraged to attend and we welcome your input into the discussion!

Marion1 copyMarion Grasby is a food producer, television host and author who is known for her genuine passion for Asian food and her contagious smile. Marion is a little bit Thai (courtesy of her Mum) and a little bit Australian (courtesy of her Dad). Marion is the creator and driving force behind the Marion’s Kitchen Asian food range, which is sold in more than 10,000 stores across the USA and Australia. In 2010, Marion competed in one of the world’s most popular food television shows, Masterchef Australia. Her exit from the show made front-page news and since then she’s been in high demand as a television host, cookbook author and public speaker.





Photo_Debby TangDebby Tang is a founding partner of Foodie Collection, a hospitality group that currently owns and manages Vesper Cocktail Bar & Restaurant and Il Fumo Restaurant & Bar. In her role as Director of Operations, she is in charge of service operations, human resource, restaurant opening management and accounting. Prior to co-founding Foodie Collection with her husband in 2014, she was working in Marketing at Jo Malone in its headquarter in London and studied MBA in Luxury Brand Management in Monaco. A Taiwanese native, she has lived and worked in many cosmopolitan cities including London, Shanghai and Paris, among others.

Established in 2013, Daniel Thaiger was the first food truck to hit the streets of Bangkok, serving up burgers from it’s mobile truck in various locations around the city. Honey’s role includes everything from leadership training, managing operations and menu creation, but her true passion lies in customer service. Honey and her partner Mark have just announced they will be opening their own brick and mortar restaurant “Crying Thaiger” later this year which will be a casual steakhouse with various cuts of meat and Daniel Thaiger’s famous burgers. Honey has alway been involved in some aspect of hospitality and prior to founding Daniel Thaiger was working in a Japanese restaurant and teaching Thai cooking classes in the States.
