AKIN ASIA has a new initiative that aims to strengthen our community and facilitate further connections. The Bangkok Breakfast Network is a morning networking event for professionals to come together over breakfast, meet new people and kick start the working day together fuelled by coffee and conversation.

The Breakfast Network is a regular event and will be held every 2nd Tuesday morning. For the month of November we will be holding the Breakfast Network at Cafe Tartine. RSVPing is a MUST as we need to know numbers to give to the kitchen.

Vibeke Lyssand Leirvag is the founder of Felicia (Thailand) Ltd, Felicia Design, a leading
high-end manufacturer of silver and gold jewellery. Felicia Design is a Norwegian
controlled company delivering European innovative technology and products at a high
quality standards. With its team of 180 employees, Felicia Design has gained a reputation as a trusted partner and manufacturer for some of well respected brands from Europe, USA and Australia.

Vibeke is an entrepreneur. She arrived in Thailand at an early age and has a
background in jewellery design and manufacturing. She has built Felicia Design from being a small start-up operation to being a solid SME and have for the past twelve years worked closely with Swarovski Gems, contributing designs for their trend forecast publications. Vibeke has been active on the board of Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC) since it was founded in 1997. Through her position as President, she has been actively involved in Joint Foreign Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT) activities, working closely with some of the committee chairs in their advocacy work. As Vice President of TNCC, Vibeke is tasked with advocating female leadership and board participation, an area in which Norway has taken a leading global role.

Vibeke has also given her direct support to the JFCCT team and its Chairman to organise some of their key events; the latest, the Prime Minister Luncheon 2016. Vibeke was responsible for the production of JFCCT’s 40th
Anniversary Book. With her 28 years in Thailand and her 20 years in Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, Vibeke has built a strong contact and knowledge base, which can contribute positively to the work of JFCCT.
