AKIN ASIA has a new initiative that aims to strengthen our community and facilitate further connections. The Bangkok Breakfast Network is a morning networking event for professionals to come together over breakfast, meet new people and kick start the working day together fuelled by coffee and conversation.

The Breakfast Network is a regular event and will be held every 2nd Tuesday morning. For the month of June we will be holding the Breakfast Network at Not Just Another Cup in Sathorn. RSVPing is a MUST as we need to know numbers to give to the kitchen.

Aliza (Alice) Napartivaumnuay is the co-founder of the award-winning social enterprise, Socialgiver. She is revolutionising fundraising by tapping into consumer spending power with the vision of turning the world’s spare capacity into social progress. She launched Socialgiver – an innovative solution that helps consumers, businesses, and social projects to work together to create positive social impact. This giving ecosystem is based in Thailand and hopes to change the world by working together in a creative and sustainable way that promotes a better, more inclusive society. Her interest in creating social impact project stems from her previous roles in the corporate sector managing new project developments for top retailers from a supply chain and distribution perspective for more than 9 years. Combining with her passion to create a positive change to the community and the environment, she works with the philosophy that in order to create sustainable change, it must be done through public participation.  Her new adventure as a social entrepreneur is creating technology for change by allowing people to connect online yet produces tangible impacts offline. Her key priority is in growing Socialgiver in Thailand while planning regional expansions.  Aliza has lead Socialgiver to win awards such as the Thailand’s Social Enterprise Award for 2015, The Venture Thailand, and a winner of the Global Social Venture Competition for South East Asia alongside being nominated as a Changemaker by the US State Department program and an active member of the Young South East Asian Leader Initiative where she was invited to meet with President Obama. Prior to Socialgiver, Aliza has received her Masters Degree in Master of Science in Supply Engineering and Logistics from the University of Warwick , UK and her Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management from Chulalongkorn University. Aliza loves travelling, reading, playing sports, cooking and urban sketching.
