Isabel Valle, ACTP PCC, Executive & Leadership Coach and founder of Global Room, offering, Coaching, Mentoring, and Facilitation Services. Isabel is an experienced ICF Coach with over 20 years of international experience holding senior positions within the hospitality industry in countries around the world, as well as executive and leadership coaching, mentoring, and training.
She has been interviewing women throughout Asia and Australia about their leadership aspirations, the skills they wish to develop and the challenges and obstacles they face. She has uncovered a common set of challenges encountered by women wanting to advance their careers and a specific set of skills necessary to break through those roadblocks.
Pisate “Jett” Virangkabutra, Lecturer at the School of Global Studies and Social Entrepreneurship, Thammasat University and Director of Glab at the School of Global Studies, Thammasat University. Jett has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Master Degree in Human Centered Design from King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Public administration at NIDA.
With a background in Industrial Design and specialization in Human Centered Design, he runs projects and conducts design thinking workshops and training sessions for both the private and public sectors. Currently, his focus is on creating innovation for the public sector and he is a member of the teaching team at Stanford ’s school.
Laura Takenaka, NEM Foundation. A valued member of the NEM team, Laura has experience in both management and the public sector through both a brief stint at the United Nations as well as with the Canadian Government.
Finishing up her Master’s Degree in International Development Studies as a mature learner, she believes in lifelong learning which led her to her fascination with Blockchain technology and real-world use cases. NEM looks forward to further meaningful partnerships throughout South East Asia and around the world.
Richard consults for some of the world’s leading manufacturing & technology multinationals in Thailand and the SE Asia region. His passions and expertise focus on supporting clients with Executive Search requirements with a specific emphasis on culturally matching candidates to clients to create a sustainable leadership pipeline and long-term partnerships for RLC.
Richard is a regular keynote speaker for the UK & Australian Government Trade & Industry Missions to Thailand, presenting on topics such as the “State of the Thai Automotive Industry” and “Labor – Recruitment & Retention”. Since 2015, Richard has been the Co-Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce’s award-winning Human Resources Committee.
Outside of work, Richard is an avid gym goer, big motorbiker and scuba diver and regularly travels the world in search of interesting adventures!
